This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

Soaring the Skies Above! Painted in August 2002. This was my first attempt at bringing the Man of Steel to canvas. And I was pretty pleased at how the art came out. Hope you enjoy him as much as I trying to capture Christopher Reeve's brilliant interpretation.
After it was finished, the painting was exhibited at: The Society of Illustrators, in New York in the 2002 'Our Own Show' group exhibition.
About Neil Feigeles
I've been creating art of one kind or another since childhood. As I grew to adulthood, I discovered I had a knack for drawing faces and happily decided I was going to be an artist for the rest of my life. I attended The High School of Art & Design & then The School of Visual Arts. Growing up my ambition was to become a comic book artist, but at SVA I discovered that I actually had some talent using oil paint; and decided that I would make my living doing illustration. With my ability to capture likenesses, and my love of comic books and the entertainment field, I've specialized in portrait related images.
